Festival Vendor Regulations
1) Disclaimer- Marc A. Gunn and M.A.G.E. (hereafter known as Coordinator) shall not be responsible in any manner or form for failure of the faire to be open or be operable for any reason or cause what so ever. Coordinator offer no security and shall have NO liability of theft or damage to merchandise or displays of any merchant participant or other persons entering the Fairgrounds with or without the consent or Coordinator. Coordinator shall have NO liability or theft or damage to vehicles of any merchant participant parked at site, with or without the consent of Coordinator.
2) All persons working in your booth must be in period garb (NO exceptions) vendor is limited to 4 passes per booth space.
3) Vendor space/tent/canopy/EZup must look period this means if covers look like plastic or shiny a period type fabric must cover it, also all modern items covered or out of sight this includes the pvc pipe poles. Committee will have final approval. (If you do set up one of these you will be asked to modify it before opening gate if you do not comply you will be asked to leave).
4) Only pre-approved merchandise can be sold or served during festival. All items will fit into the Renaissance theme.
5) The only water available on site is sold by Fairgrounds.
6) Appropriate behavior expected at all times
7) Camping is not available / many local motels in the area.
8) All weapons sold or carried must be peace tied, boxed or sent to front gate for later pick-up.
9) Each vendor site is 12x12. Tents must fit within that dimension. If larger than that, you must purchase more than one site
10) Costs:
- Each 12x12 site $25.00 before December 31st.
- After this date Fee will be $50.00.
- Electric hookup is currently unconfirmed.
- Vendors additional 10% of total sales.
- Cleaning at this time we do not require a deposit for cleaning all we ask is that you Clean up after your self when leaving festival grounds.
11) Set up may start at 8:00 am on the day of the festival. You must be set up and all vehicles off Grounds by 10:30am each day of festival. Tear down may begin at sundown.
12) Festival happens rain or shine.
13) There will be no alcohol brought into grounds during festival hours. And if you are a vendor that is officially selling alcohol or samples your people must be of the appropriate age to serve it.
14) The vendor / performer grants permission to the festival to use vendor/performer's name, image, voice, and music for purpose of advertising and promotion of festival.
15) Indemnity Agreement: Merchants participation in the Boar's Head Winter Fest at Location shall indemnify and hold the faire and Coordinator harmless from any and all claims, debts, and /or liabilities arising by contract, tort, or other wise out of operation of the booth(s) and shall defend any lawsuits brought against the faire or Coordinator by any third party of any nature or from whatsoever as a result of the merchantís operation. The merchant agrees to hold the faire and Coordinator harmless from all claims for damages or loss arising out of or connected with, in any way what so ever, the merchantís use of connection there with.
